Data Pal trains client teams, builds first automations on real client data, and leaves the team with standards to continue independently. Building blocks can include cohort training, use-case workshops, quick wins, self-learning materials, champion mentoring, workflow governance, Alteryx Server setup where applicable, Center of Enablement framework, and certification support. ### Automation Advisory Program A small entry-point engagement. Data Pal helps the client collect and structure use cases, choose a good first automation candidate, and assess whether Alteryx is a good fit when the client has not yet bought it. ### Standard Training Structured Alteryx sessions from Data Pal's catalogue. Learning paths cover basic, intermediate, and advanced Alteryx topics. Dedicated training can be prepared for specific domains. ### Process Automation Data Pal builds and supports Alteryx workflows for finance, tax, and operations. Collaboration models are FTE for Rent, Workflow Development, and Bucket of Hours. FTE for Rent: a named Data Pal consultant, or rotating team where different skills are needed, joins the client team at 0.5 or 1.0 FTE. Three-month minimum. The consultant is embedded in the client's cadence, with senior review before production. Workflow Development: scoped project-based delivery. The workflow is built from scratch or from an existing base, with documentation and internal owner training. Success-fee models can be agreed before the project if the client wants that structure. Bucket of Hours: expert hours for coaching, solution design, live sessions, code review, and feasibility assessment. Buckets are 8, 24, 48, or 64 hours, valid for six months. 24 hours is the most common bucket. Common use-case areas include financial reconciliation, invoice processing at scale, regulatory filings, ETF and reference data, multi-language data transformations, and operational reporting. ### Tax Automation Data Pal supports indirect tax and finance automation. Confirmed SAF-T delivery experience covers Romania D406 and Bulgaria. Other jurisdictions can be handled case by case if the client or tax advisor provides field mapping. First Automation Implementation helps tax teams structure a first use case, capture business rules, build and validate a workflow, document it for the tax team, and train the internal owner. Support can run through FTE for Rent or Bucket of Hours. ### Platform Consulting Data Pal installs and onboards Alteryx Server with governance from day zero. Scope can include environment sizing, infrastructure review, prerequisites checklist, Controller, Worker, Gallery and persistence layer installation, workflow folder structure, naming conventions, user and role mapping, Studio governance, collection design, templates, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID or SAML authentication integration, and knowledge transfer to the client's platform owner. Confirmed volume: 3-5 Alteryx Server installations per year. Data Pal does not provision infrastructure and does not own Alteryx licensing. Server managing and Q&A support is delivered through FTE for Rent. It can include schedule monitoring, failure triage, user and role administration, collection lifecycle, worker tuning, capacity planning, performance review, patch management, minor upgrades, and Q&A for end users during reporting cycles. ### AI Strategy and Automation Data Pal helps companies use AI in a secure and auditable way. Data Pal picks one process a team does by hand and builds the automation with them, then helps get it approved by IT and security and checked by audit. The automation runs in Alteryx, a data platform the team can open and check step by step. Every automation has to pass four checks, which Data Pal calls VURA. Seven building blocks are available: - AI Strategy: for senior managers and directors responsible for AI who have no plan yet, where people already use private ChatGPT or Claude accounts for real work and the company has no central approach. - AI Use Case Discovery: half a day to pick the first process to automate, scoring each process on value, effort, speed and reuse, ending with a ranked list. - Claude/Codex + Alteryx Kickstart: two days in which Data Pal builds one real automation with the people who run the process, with Claude Code or Codex writing the Alteryx workflow and the client team reviewing every step. - Claude/Codex Training: one or two days of hands-on training in which people learn Claude Code and Codex on their own tasks, not on slides. - Knowledge Hub for Small Teams: one place where the team and its AI tools read the same rules, processes, standards, templates and security rules. - Setting Up Your Local LLM: an open model such as Llama, Mistral or Qwen on the client's own hardware, for banking secrecy, works council or disconnected plant situations, working on data that never leaves the building. - AI-Powered Value Dashboard: a scan of the Alteryx environment showing which workflows run, how often, who owns them and how much staff time each one saves.
